Direct Involvement in National Standards Formulation
At Shyaam Switchgear, technical compliance is not a checkbox; it is part of our DNA. Our Director – Technical, Mr. Nilesh Agarwal, serves on apex technical committees with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS):
- BIS ETD-22 Committee: The sectional committee for Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmospheres, formulating Indian Standards governing flameproof and intrinsically safe equipment.
- INC-IEC Committee: The Indian National Committee corresponding to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) technical committees on hazardous-location equipment.
